Where it all began
Before Shawnigan Hound Supply, there was a lifelong love of horses and dogs - and an appreciation for the beauty of fine tack. From this emerged the thought of bringing the timeless style and craftsmanship of the stables into the world of dog accessories.
The idea began simply: I couldn't find the exact dog accessories I envisioned. Much felt mass-produced, disposable, or lacking the sense of heritage and quality I valued from years as an equestrian. So I decided to create them - accessories that reflect true craftsmanship, designed to last, and made to be loved for years to come.
From idea to design
From here began the incredible journey of making my ideas a reality. Alongside a borderline obsession on sourcing high quality, ethical materials - that even took me to Italy to find the perfect leather - I spent countless rounds of mock-ups and prototyping to achieve the precise intersection of luxury and functionality that I sought. Every detail was considered before the first piece was ever made.
At Shawnigan Hound Supply we are committed to manufacturing locally and are proud to say that all of our products are handcrafted in Great Britain. Our ethos firmly stands against the rising prevalence of fast consumerism and instead brings a focus on longevity, authenticity, and timeless design.
Bringing the vision to life
From sketches to showgrounds, Shawnigan Hound Supply made its debut in 2025 at an international horse trials event where sharing our first collection among fellow equestrians felt like coming full circle.
